Energizing Encana's student talent from coast to coast

Jasper Tam, a student at the University of British Columbia is one of the four Canadian Enbassadors selected this year.

Each year we select a small number of students to become our Campus Enbassadors, responsible for helping to attract new talent to Encana from universities across Canada. This exciting opportunity helps to develop our next generation of talent with a focus on high demand areas such as engineering, geology, geophysics, land and accounting.

Four students have been selected for the 2014/2015 school year to represent Encana at their respective universities. These students each completed a work term with Encana in 2014. To be considered for the opportunity, each student submitted a written application along with a video explaining how their role at Encana contributed to supporting our corporate strategy. An internal selection committee viewed all entries and determined the winners.

They are:

  • Alfred Chow, Accounting, Mount Royal University | Watch video
  • Jasper Tam, Occupational and Environmental Hygiene, University of British Columbia | Watch video
  • Kelly Butler, Engineering, Queen’s University | Watch video
  • Marawan ElSayed, Engineering, Dalhousie University | Watch video

Our Enbassadors benefit by developing their leadership and communications skills and received a $250 award, personalized business cards and Encana promotional items to share with fellow students.

Congratulations to our new Campus Enbassadors!
