Announcing our 2013/14 Campus Enbassadors

Jordan Low, an engineering student from the University of Saskatchewan is one of our 2013/14 Campus Enbassadors.

The next group of bright young minds who will represent Encana as Campus Enbassadors at post-secondary institutions in 2013/14 have been selected. Congratulations to:

  • Jordan Low-On, Engineering, University of Saskatchewan | Watch video
  • Varghese Alexander, Engineering, University of Alberta | Watch video
  • Ashley Millette, Geology, University of Ottawa | Watch video
  • Clara Laws, Geology, Queens University | Watch video
Each of these students recently completed a summer work term with Encana. To be considered for a role as a Campus Enbassador, students submitted a video of themselves answering the question “What would a career in natural gas mean to you?” Submissions were reviewed by a selection committee and the winning students were chosen.

The successful candidates each received a $500 scholarship, personalized business cards with the title of Campus Enbassador, and Encana branded promotional items to hand out to academic peers during their time on campus.

Encana aims to attract and retain the best people at all levels of the organization. The Campus Enbassador program allows us to create a link between the company and the next generation of innovative thinkers – our students. Being an Enbassador is an amazing professional development opportunity that enhances both leadership and communication skills.

Congratulations to the Enbassadors and we look forward to staying connected with you over the coming year.
