EnCana to present at New York and Florida investor conferences

CALGARY, Alberta (February 23, 2004) - Gwyn Morgan, EnCana Corporation's (TSX, NYSE: ECA) President and Chief Executive Officer, will be presenting at two separate upcoming investor conferences. The FirstEnergy East Coast Canadian Energy Conference will take place in New York City on Friday, February 27, 2004. The Raymond James 25th Annual Institutional Investors Conference will take place in Orlando, Florida on Monday, March 1, 2004.
