Safety Stand Down is a Canadian industry-wide initiative that encourages management to visit frontline workers and talk about safety. Supported by Enform, employees and contractors from across our operations will be participating for the eighth year in 2010.

The theme this year, Together We Can Make the Difference, asks all individuals to take a leadership role when it comes to safety to ensure we collaborate, communicate and plan for safety with every job and task.

Safety is a core value of our business. EnCana has an ever growing safety culture - one that reinforces the notion that safety is everyone’s responsibility. Safety Stand Down is just one part of our focus on continuous improvement in safety performance at EnCana for 2010.
