Our employees continue to enrich the communities where we live and work by donating more than $1.6 million dollars during our 2011 Encana Cares Annual Campaign in October.

Employees who take part in the annual campaign select which charities they wish to support and Encana matches those donations dollar for dollar, up to $25,000 annually per employee, - bringing this year’s total amount donated to more than $3.2 million.

Almost 1,600 employees in Canada and the United States took part in the 2011 campaign, supporting more than 1,300 charitable organizations that make our communities better places to live.

Employees can make a difference year-round with our matching gifts program that sees donations over $25 matched by the company, as well as through our employee volunteer program that provides grants to organizations where employees donate their time.
