Proud supporter of the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge

Encana proudly stepped up again to sponsor the 2017 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge held in Dawson Creek and Fort St. John November 5 to November 11, 2017. The first step in Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence, the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge includes three Canadian teams and five international entries in a tournament that showcases the future stars of the game.

“As a volunteer and representative of Encana, I’ve had the opportunity to experience both the 2015 and 2017 events. The comradery and excitement created in the community is nothing short of inspiring,” said Brian Lieverse, Senior Community Relations Advisor.

Many of the games, including the gold medal game, will be broadcasted nationally on TSN.

Our commitment to community

Our Community Investment program strives to promote environmental stewardship, enhance the skill sets of the next generation of industry workers and support the needs of communities where we live and operate through our three funding pillars: environment, education and community life.

In the Montney, Encana has supported initiatives such as Classroom Champions, Breakfast Clubs of Canada, the Race Against Hunger and the Lights and Sirens Food Drive.

A Canadian landowner’s guide to pipelines

As with other oil and gas activities pipeline projects require public consultation, landowner negotiation, environmental assessment, land use considerations and regulatory approval. Learn how we work with landowners and find company, provincial and federal contact information.

Courtesy Matters

We operate on the basis of trust, integrity and respect, principles that are the foundation of our Courtesy Matters program.
