Mark Trueman

A graduate of the Developing Skills Initiative, Mark joined Deep Panuke as a Procurement Analyst working as part of a team that oversees contracts from strategy development and drafting, through to contract award, administration, change management and closeout. Additionally, he managed and coordinated logistics, material control for key contracts, and reporting to management on supply chain issues.

Mark completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Dalhousie University, where he obtained a major in Marketing Logistics and joint specialization in International Business. While completing his studies, he also gained a combined year of professional experience in shipping, forestry, and biotechnology industries. He has additionally completed professional development coursework in marine transportation, project management, and oil and gas.

In the spring of 2011, Mark joined the Cabin Gas Plant project management team in Calgary as a Contracts Analyst. Today he continues to be based in Calgary where he works for Devon Energy as a Contracts Specialist to its thermal heavy oil projects.
