Include all relevant information in your resume and be sure to put this information in chronological order, including:
Add any other information you think would be important for us to know. Don't include any false information on your resume.
Keep your resume to one or two pages. Your resume should be concise and on point, but make sure to include all relevant and important information.
Not all resumes need a cover letter but if you choose to add one, please keep it to a reasonable length. Make sure to change your cover letter for each position you apply for.
Read over your resume to find any errors or spelling mistakes. We advise proofreading your resume (or have a friend review) up to three times. Even one small typo can affect your entire resume. (Hint: We no longer spell Encana with a capital "C")
Be prepared for your interview. Spend time researching and getting to know our company. Come prepared with your resume and a copy of your unofficial transcripts.
Leave yourself extra time to get to the interview as first impressions are important and it's better to be early than late.
Make sure you look presentable. Our dress code is business casual, use that as a guideline.
We typically try to keep interviews to within 45 minutes.
You will be interviewed by members of the campus technical team or group to which the position reports. A member of the Campus Recruitment team may also sit in on your interview.
You will be asked behavioral based questions such as: 'give us an example of a time when you set a goal and were able to meet or achieve it'.
Be yourself! Achieving academic excellence is important, however we are recruiting for well rounded students to join our team.
